Air Force Common Admission Test is an entrance test which is organized for both male and female candidate who are interested to join the Indian Air Force as commissioned officers in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches. The exam is conducted twice in a year that is in the months of February and September.

How to apply for the form?
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply for the entrance exam. First of all, the candidates are required to go through the official website which is www.careerairforce.nic.in and then hit over the login option. Candidate has to complete the registration process and make sure that there should be no mistake in the application form as there will be no chance for the candidates to accurate their mistakes. Candidates should keep the scanned copies of required documents including the images of photograph and signature of candidates ready.
Exam Pattern
The duration of the test will be 2 hours. It will be multiple choice based question type of AFCAT entrance exam 2017. Questions asked in the entrance exam will be on the basis of topics including the numerical ability, verbal ability, reasoning and General Awareness and Military aptitude.
Result
The result of the entrance exam will be released online on the official website of the entrance exam conducting authority. The result will be declared online and candidates will have to download the result and keep it safe till the process of admission gets over.

Eligibility Criteria
For Flying Branch-
- Candidates who are born in between 2nd January, 1993 to 1st January, 1998 which includes both the dates
- Candidates need to have cleared BE/B.TECH from a recognized University with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate
- Minimum Height should be 5 ft and minimum vision should 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye
- Candidates should have born in between 2nd January, 1992 to 1st January, 1998 which includes both the dates
- Candidates should have cleared Section A and B of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers along with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or should have done graduation of 4 years
- Candidates should have minimum height of 5 ft and for female it is 152 cm
- Candidates should have born in between 2nd January, 1992 to 1st January, 1998 which includes both the dates
- For Accounts Posts, candidates should hold a post graduation degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks
- For administration and Logistics and Educational Posts, candidates should be a post graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
