UPSC has announced NDA/NA 1 Result 2016 for the written exam on June 29th, 2016. The qualified candidate of NDA 2016 is called for Services in Selection Board for the process of Admission to Army, Navy or Air Force.
Service Selection Board (SSB) interview is the ultimate round for admission process and candidates needs to qualify objective-type exam to qualify for the final round. The NDA I 2016 result enlist the roll numbers of the candidates who qualifies for Interview to be organized by SSB for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force for 137th Course and for 99th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), which is going to start from January 2nd, 2017.
The selection of these candidates is conditional. The candidates need to submit their authentic certificates such as certificate of Age and certificates of Educational Qualification during the interview conducted by SSB. The mark-sheets of the candidates is issued by organizing body within 15 days from the date of declaration of the final NDA Result (after conduction of Interviews by SSB) and is also available on the website for a maximum period of 30 days.
Result is processed on the basis of performance of candidate in the multiple-choice exam. It is mandatory for the candidates to score minimum required marks to get shortlisted.
How to check the result?
After declaration of the result, UPSC declared the cutoff as well. Out of 900 marks in written exam candidate need to score a minimum of 306 marks to qualify for the next round.

UPSC organizes the National Defense Academy Exam.National Defense Academy II Exam will be organized on September 18th 2016.
Candidates clearing the exam are called for SSB interviews.On the basis of SSB interview, candidates are selected for admission to India army, navy or air force.National Defense Academy exam consists of maximum of 900 marks.Two papers are taken which have duration of 2½ hours each.
With the National Defense Academy I 2016, which was held on April 17, admissions are offered to candidates in National Defense Academy courses which are offered for enrollment to various wings of Indian Defense Services which includes Army, Navy or Air Force. Positions in the above defense wings will be filled as follows

- Paper II is on General Ability Test which carries maximum of 600 marks.
